From Player to Mentor
The Inspiring Journey of an Ex-Government Serviceman and Kabbadi Coach in Indian Railways
An Ex-Government serviceman in Indian Railways, he commenced his professional career as a kabbadi player at a tender age. Represented Schools, Clubs, State, and Railways at the topmost level. After an illustrious playing career came to an end due to an injury in the year 1988, which ignited an even more remarkable coaching journey.
He was announced as a coach for Western Railways Men's & Women's team in the year 1990, he served as Indian Railway's Selector, Manager, and Mentor in his 25 years of journey. Throughout this, he made his mark in the Kabbadi World by winning various championships, grooming & scouting new talents.
He also recruited more than 160 players for Western Railways, till today he is relentlessly working towards his vision to create a better sporting atmosphere for our upcoming youths to flourish and also nurturing new athletes with his immense knowledge and experiences.
